Project Overview

Having the choice to pick a poem, the theme I've chosen was hopeless romantic, This poster consist of images from the 1950s to early 2000s magazines. Poem choice was "Be gently, every heart hides many wounds that never bleed," by Alexandra Vasiliu. The goal was to focus on emotional heart break through shaping images into a heart, textured paper and tear marks help define it.  

Project Approach

 The font choice was specific to give an elegant yet serious tone. Finding romantic imagery and incorporate it through heartbreak, picking specific colors and sizes to create a heart as the main focal point. Around the heart reveals heartbreak and separation, specifically depicting through the middle tear. Pushing the boundaries of playing with hierarchy and contrast.
